About the role:
Our mission is to create direct connections between the real world and the digital world through technology and to achieve this mission. In this role, you’ll architect complex solutions for our customers, dive deep into complex technical issues spanning multiple teams, collaborate closely with the product org on roadmap and product design, and sell alongside our AEs.
You will build new partnerships to help us drive this mission, play your part in an elite sales team, and achieve annual revenue targets. You'll get to know our products and programs inside-out and offer prospective customers clear insight into all things QR.
What you'll do at Beaconstac:
You will do deep discovery into our customers technical, financial, and operations needs then use this to help design their solutions in conjunction with their engineering and product teams.
Drafts or assists with the drafting of presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers.
Provides product expertise and support to sales teams to communicate products, services, and client needs.
Generating new leads that may purchase the product and conducting follow-ups after making initial contact until they close the sale
Setting and achieving the company’s sales goals
Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
Skills you bring to the table:
Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or field related to products and services being sold is preferred.
4+ years of SaaS experience.
3+ years of customer facing technical roles.
Creativity to approach sales and build customer relationships in groundbreaking new ways.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) enterprise sales
Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
Computer proficiency and the ability to accurately enter data and generate reports
Negotiation and social problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a high-stress sales environment and multitask
Compensation DOE:
Salary Range $60-90k base with 50% additional OTE
