Chief of Staff to the CEO

Beaconstac is looking to hire a Chief of Staff to the CEO to help drive the next phase of growth for its phygital customer management platform. In this role, they will work directly with the CEO to specifically drive acquisitions, investor relations and help shape corporate strategy. 


Job responsibilities

The Chief of Staff will have responsibilities across corporate development, investor relations, anchor strategic initiatives, and serve as a force multiplier to the CEO.


Corporate development & investor relations

  • Research global industry trends and map competitive landscape with internal product development efforts
  • Identify, evaluate, and value potential acquisitions to augment our business goals
  • Execute transactions, including diligence, working collaboratively with the target teams
  • Work with the CEO in building fundraising presentations and research to support investor relations.
  • Manage  board meeting preparation and creation of materials

Financial & strategic Initiatives

  • Support executive decision making through data gathering, information analyzing, and presenting considerations to relevant stakeholders 
  • Create and update weekly & monthly dashboards to track key marketing, sales, and financial metrics
  • Lead, or contribute to one or more special projects under the strategy, product, or growth umbrellas. Typically projects that will be time-sensitive and high impact that require creative thinking and problem-solving.

Force multiplier

  • Assist in important meeting preparations and also attend meetings when necessary
  • Assessing specific inquiries directed to the CEO and determining the proper course of action when delegated 
  • Serving as a trusted advisor and confidant to the CEO


Required skills

 

  • 3 - 7 years of professional experience
  • Experience in investment banking, management consulting, venture capital, or corporate strategy experience at a high-growth startup.
  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration is a bonus 
  • Ability to work in ambiguity in a fast-paced entrepreneurial setup
  • Agility is critical since this role will require becoming involved in various and diverse tasks. Requires a person who is flexible and open-minded.
  • Highly data-driven - data drives your decisions, and you can get technical with data too;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Strong experience in Powerpoint and Excel is a must
  • Hands-on, self-starter with a bias for action
  • True love for technology and what you do 
  • Maniacal attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
